British tax authorities said on Monday they had seized 3 NFTs and around 5000 pounds worth of crypto in an effort to crack down on suspected criminal activity. The investigation also led to the arrest of 3 people for alleged tax repayment fraud involving 250 fake companies.
With the blockchain becoming a more commonly used tool for NFT and crypto-assets enforcement agencies are working to adapt to new technology to keep pace with how criminals conceal their assets.
