Trucks, Tractors, Trailers

Canoo is reporting for duty! The EV startup has delivered its first electric Light Tactical Vehicle to the US Army for testing. The US awarded the contract to Canoo back in July, and on paper, they nailed the prompt.

The LTV is extreme environment ready with stealth configurations and carbon Kevlar-based protection keeping the passengers and battery safe.

Monarch Tractor is serving back on the home front! The California-based startup is delivering AI tractors. The vehicles use NVIDIA chips to run real-time AI applications to perform farm tasks with no driver.

Two 3D and six standard cameras give the tractor location awareness in areas not covered by GPS or wireless connectivity- you know, like the middle of a hundred-acre field.

Polydrops will help travel between battlefield and farm even easier! Their P19 Shorty camper trailer could extend the Hyundai Ioniq 5's battery range by over 20 miles.

A short 28.5-mile trip showed enough energy use reduction that, if applied to the full battery charge, adds up to a nice aerodynamics-based battery boost. Of course, it requires strict adherence to a 55MPH speed, and that's after you strap the $10K thing to your ride.
