Subaru’s Help Month

It’s funny how much we learn from our dealer friends without ever talking about money or cars, such as how to see people as more than their need without losing sight of how we can help with their need.

Subaru’s Help Month

On any given night, 500K adults and 35K children are without a house to call home. In communities across the nation, local shelters and pantries do their best to care for these unmet needs and, thankfully, do not do so alone.

February is Help Month for Subaru and its 600+ dealers in the US. This year they will donate over 500K pairs of new socks and 100K blankets to be distributed by shelters in and around the communities their retail locations serve.

We followed up with one of our favorite Subaru retailers, David Long, who said the team has 500 pairs of socks ready to go. We asked about the attitude around the store during this month, and he said, "It's all we want to do - make a positive impact in our community."

Subaru of America thinks David and the Hansel Auto Group team are making that positive impact and recognized them with a 2023 Subaru Love Promise: Customer & Community Commitment Gold Award.
