So, a company called Xos, Inc. bought a company called ElectraMeccanica in March for about $48 million. That's what happened, but why it caught our attention is ElectraMeccanica's SOLO.

It's a three-wheeled EV, with the frame of a reverse tricycle and the body of a sedan pushed backward into a corner before the clay was dry.

The SOLO aimed to revolutionize urban mobility but faced production hiccups and a recall due to defects. With Xos' acquisition, there's potential for a new chapter for the SOLO, leveraging Xos' expertise in electric mobility.
