FTX announced Monday it would expand operations into Europe. Cyprus financial regulators have approved the push, but multiple European countries will gain access to FTX. The new entity will be headquartered in Switzerland.
The sky is the limit. After reaching 1 million users, the FTX has captured the attention of the press and investors. January fundraising efforts saw the company valuation rise to #32B. Currently, they are the official crypto exchange sponsor and own the naming rights to the Miami Heat stadium. Hints have been made toward a Robinhood-style stock trading feature, but no announcement has been made as of now.
