Gas prices are sooo high... no punchline is coming. They're just high! In the spirit of innovation, one Troublemaking Dealer saw a problem and a solution right before our eyes.
Fitness is my life! Patrick Abad, GM of Beaver Toyota in Cumming, Georgia, is no stranger to fitness. Patrick oversees an impressive 135,000 square foot facility containing a showroom, service center, entertainment area, cafe, and, most important for our story: a fitness center.
When the US Department of Energy came knocking, Patrick box-jumped into action.. Shifting attention to training, actual physical training, Patrick's store became the home base of the PUSHBACK FITNESS app(Always in all caps because of yelling), on which fuel price-fatigued users can actually rent Crossfitters to combat fuel prices.
Off to a strong start. "It's really simple, actually," Abad said, "you enter your location in the app, and within minutes an outrageously hype guy or gal shows up and pushes your car up hills!" Once a car reaches the top of the hill, the Crossfitter gets in to coast down before getting out at the bottom of the next hill.
The US Department of Energy reports a significant reduction in fuel consumption since the program launched 4 hours ago.
